Parque de las Luces

Last night my family and I visited el Parque de las Luces in Santo Domingo. Admission is free and security is very present in this exhibition of lights, rides, food and of course, music. We have seen the outside of the park, as it is practically nextdoor to us. Every day when I pick up Coral from school, we pass the parque and coral names all of the lit-up figures that adorn it's walls. "Papa, una foca y un cangrejo, that means seal and crab" she tells me. The theme of the park is Christmas under the Sea.
